Pastor Marc, originally from Hazard, Kentucky, serves as the Lead Pastor here at New Covenant. He is responsible for leading, preaching, teaching, and overall care of the members of this body. In 1992, Pastor and his wife, Mary, started New Covenant in a living room after the Lord gave him a vision for Charleston. Prior to New Covenant, Pastor Marc served as an evangelist and pastor in Kentucky and spent two years serving in the United Kingdom. As well as serving as Lead Pastor here at New Covenant, he presently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Church of God Home for Children in Mauldin, SC and is a member of the Charleston Ecclesiastical Council. Pastor is also heavily involved in pastoral training in Asia and Europe. Pastor’s vision is to see New Covenant become a place where non-pentecostals can experience the Holy Spirit and to be an agent for spiritual renewal in our city. He and his wife Mary have 3 children; Jonathan (Crystal), Laura (Richard), and Emily; and four beautiful granddaughters; Caitlyn, Alanna, Audrey, and Norah. In his spare time you can find Pastor enjoying a round of golf or cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.

Adam serves as our Worship and Media Pastor. He is responsible for the planning of our worship services, oversees all media outlets for our congregation, and serves as an advisor for our Youth and Children’s worship departments. Adam is a spiritual son of New Covenant, having grown up in this congregation all of his life. Adam attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN where he received a B.A. in Music and a Master of Church Music. While attending Lee, Adam was a proud member of the Lee University Campus Choir, Power Unlimited, and the Lee Singers. Before he came on staff here at New Covenant, Adam served as a Professor of Music at the Church of God European Theological Seminary in Kniebis, Germany. It was through that experience that Adam’s passion for teaching others to lead worship was ignited. Adam’s vision at New Covenant is to not only lead our congregation in dynamic, excellent worship, but to equip others to do so as well. Adam lives life and ministry by the famous Andy Dufresne (The Shawshank Redemption) quote, “Get busy living or get busy dying.” In his spare time you can find Adam making music, traveling, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks football team.
Worship and Media Pastor
Russell Brown serves in dual roles here at New Covenant as our Student Pastor and Mt Pleasant Campus Pastor. Russell is responsible for the spiritual development of students and young adults from middle school to college and early career at the Main Campus. Russell also leads and directs our Mt Pleasant Campus as the Campus Pastor. Russell comes to us from the upstate and has spent 9 years as a student pastor and speaker and comes from a rich heritage of pastors. Russell is an ordained minister in the Church of God and serves on the South Carolina State Youth and Discipleship Board. Russell’s vision is to expand the ministry of New Covenant to the city of Mt Pleasant, discipling the churched and unchurched to make a difference for the kingdom. Russell lives his life by Isaiah 61 and John 3:30 and has a desire to be and do what God wants him to, knowing that outside of that, he is nothing. Russell and his wife Crystal, along with their two daughters Katelyn and Ava, reside in Goose Creek. In his spare time you can find Russell in the outdoors, out on the dock fishing, or watching and playing sports.
Student Pastor - Mt. Pleasant Campus Pastor
Annette Glover, originally from the South Bronx via Puerto Rico, serves alongside of her husband Wayne as the Community Outreach Director. Annette is responsible for overseeing all Community Impact functions, our food pantry, Nuevo Pacto (Spanish ministry), and is the liaison for networking with assistance agencies in the city of North Charleston. Annette comes to New Covenant with 17 years of experience serving in such capacities as youth pastor, missions director, outreach pastor, drama leader, and prison ministry team member. Prior to coming onboard at New Covenant, Annette served as the Advocacy to the Hispanic Community for Lowcountry Pregnancy Center. Annette and Wayne’s vision is to restore our community one person at a time by showing the transformative power of the love of Christ. They both serve as chaplains for the Church of God and Annette is actively involved in community functions for the City of North Charleston. Together, Wayne and Annette have 8 kids and in her spare time you can find Annette gardening, cooking, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Community Outreach Directors
Harvey Fields serves as the Care and Prayer Pastor here at New Covenant. Harvey is responsible for the coordinating and training of our prayer team here at New Covenant. He is also responsible for insuring that anybody in the New Covenant family that is sick at home, hospitalized, or residing in a care facility is visited by a member of the staff or prayer team. He also provides prayerful support to every family who experiences a loss. His vision for the Prayer and Care ministry is to make sure everyone connected with New Covenant knows that we as a church “Care” about them and their family, especially when they are going through times of need, including sickness, death or other tragedies. His vision also extends to seeing that every New Covenant ministry, staff member and leader is covered in prayer and that a team of intercessors are challenged to maintain a constant watch for God’s direction for the entire church. Harvey and his wife, Janie, reside in Charleston. In his spare time, you can find Harvey picking on a guitar, making a child laugh, or building relationships with the members of New Covenant.
Prayer and Care Pastor
Sheila Black serves as Receptionist here at New Covenant. She is responsible for event and building scheduling, office administration, production of our weekly bulletin, and serves as a support for all ministries within the church. Sheila has also served in other ministries being involved in women’s ministry, music ministry, children’s ministry, and youth ministry. Sheila lives her life by Philippians 4:13 Her vision at New Covenant is to serve and assist our members and staff. Sheila and her husband, Michael, along with daughters Chelsea and Cierra, reside in Summerville. In her spare time, you can find Sheila in the garden, at the beach, on the boat, camping, or spending time with her family.
Tricia Mayer serves as the Children’s Pastor here at New Covenant. Trish is responsible for discipling our elementary students as well as leading and recruiting volunteer teams to serve our children. Trish holds a B.S. in Sociology and M.Ed. in Secondary and Elementary Education Counseling. She is also an ordained minister in the Church of God. Prior to coming to New Covenant, Trish was a school counselor as well as serving as Children’s Pastor at North Walhalla Church of God and Youth Pastor at West Anderson Church of God. Trish currently serves on the South Carolina Church of God Youth and Discipleship Board and is very active in the state’s yearly youth camps. Trish enjoys paddle boarding, drama, camping, and spending time with her family. Trish and her husband George, along with their two sons Quint and Aiden, reside in Goose Creek.
Laura has been a part of New Covenant from the very beginning having stood beside her parents as they started the church. Laura serves New Covenant today as our Wee Ville Coordinator. She coordinates, trains, and schedules volunteers, creates curriculum, and performs our background checks for all children’s ministry volunteers. Her mission is to create a firm foundation of God’s great love for preschoolers while also making church a place they love to be. Laura holds a B.S in Political Science from Charleston Southern University and a Masters of Education in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston. Prior to coming on staff at New Covenant, Laura was an elementary school teacher and an literary coach for Trident Technical College. She is very active in local adoption support groups. Laura and her husband, Richard, reside in Moncks Corner with their daughter, Norah.
